EMSELLA is a breakthrough nonsurgical procedure that uses revolutionary technology to treat women’s incontinence and restore their confidence.
What are the benefits of EMSELLA?
Pelvic floor muscles support the pelvic organs and span the bottom of the pelvis. Strong pelvic floor muscles give you more control over your bladder and bowel. Weakened pelvic floor muscles mean your internal organs are not fully supported and you may have difficulty controlling the release of urine.
The EMSELLA procedure utilizes electromagnetic energy to deliver thousands of supramaximal pelvic floor muscle contractions in a single session. These contractions re-train the muscles of incontinent patients to solve their problem and improve their quality of life.
How long does an EMSELLA treatment last?
Your provider will work with you to tailor a specific treatment plan. A typical treatment takes about 30 minutes each for about six sessions, scheduled twice a week.
You may observe improvement after a single session. Although every patient is different, the results typically will continue to improve over the next few weeks.
What does an EMSELLA treatment feel like?
You should expect to experience tingling and pelvic floor muscle contractions during the procedure. You may resume daily activities immediately afterward.
